Quadratic Calculator app for iPhone and iPad

This App is a Quadratic Equation solver app with a difference - it not only tells you the answer but also tells you how it worked out the answer. Invaluable for homework where knowing how the answer was derived is as important as knowing the answers.

How to use:

There are three fields to enter the numbers for the a, b and c parts of the formula. Next to b and c are plus/minus symbols to change the formula to add or subtract the b and c parts.

Select each field and enter its value using the keypad. Each can be entered using the keypad without OKing it. Just select the field and enter its value. The field being entered is shown in red.

Select whether part b is to be added or subtracted by selecting the plus sign and move down to select the minus sign, if required. Do the same for part c.

The press Calculate and the answer will be shown. To see how these answers were calculated select the Workings button at the top. The page will change to show the workings out page. This explains how the answers were derived in a step by step manner.

Sometimes the answer will say cannot calculate. This is explained in the workings page.
